Recipe: Chicken breast, sweet potato and broccoli from the oven

What do you need?

An oven, baking paper or baking dish…

Ingredients for 2-3 personsToppings
2 chicken breasts (250 grams)salt and pepper
1 broccoli (250 grams)
450 grams of sweet potato
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried thyme or a sprig of fresh thyme
1 tsp paprika powder

This is how you prepare it!

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the chicken breast into pieces and season with 1 tsp paprika, a pinch of salt and pepper;

Step 2: Roughly chop the onion and break the broccoli into florets. Peel the sweet potato or leave the skin on for extra vitamins. Cut the sweet potato into pieces;

Step 3: In a container, mix together the olive oil, thyme and 1 crushed garlic clove. Mix the herb oil through the sweet potato wedges, then spread the wedges on a baking sheet lined with baking paper;

Step 4: Bake the sweet potato in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Then add the onion, broccoli and chicken breast and bake for another 15 minutes;

Step 5: Check if all the vegetables are soft enough by pricking them with a fork and check if the chicken is cooked well;

Step 6: Serveer het lekkere en gezonde avondmaal en laat het smaken.
